Trusted pelvic health and pregnancy physiotherapy care in Hinchinbrook and Sydney's South West.

What is women’s health physiotherapy?

Women's health physiotherapy addresses the conditions women may experience at different stages of life — from pregnancy and childbirth through to menopause and beyond. Our women's health physiotherapist, Jasmine, has completed postgraduate training in the assessment and management of pelvic health and pregnancy-related conditions, and provides evidence-based, one-on-one care tailored to where you are in your journey.

What can a women’s health physiotherapist help with?

We can help with the assessment, diagnosis, and management of:

  • Pelvic pain

  • Pregnancy-related lower back or rib pain

  • Sacroiliac joint pain

  • Pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions, including carpal tunnel syndrome, tarsal tunnel syndrome, and De Quervain's syndrome

  • Urinary incontinence or bladder control problems

  • Pelvic organ prolapse

  • Perineal tears

  • Abdominal separation (DRAM)

What to expect at your first appointment

Your first visit starts with a conversation, not an examination. We'll talk through your symptoms, history, and goals before discussing any hands-on assessment, and nothing proceeds without your understanding and consent. If an internal pelvic floor assessment is relevant to your condition, we'll always explain what's involved first — and a diagnostic ultrasound is available as an alternative if you'd prefer not to have an internal exam.

Appointments are private and one-on-one, held in a dedicated treatment room. Prams are welcome, and we're happy to work around feeding or settling your baby during your session.
